The Omer is counted every evening after nightfall, from the second night of Passover till the night before Shavuot (Pentecost). If one forgets to count the Omer at night, count the following day, but without a blessing. On subsequent nights, continue counting with a blessing as usual. The blessing is made only if every day has been counted; if you missed a day, say the day’s count without the blessing.

The origins of the omer count go back to when the children of Israel left Egypt they were told by Moses that 49 days after The Exodus, they would be given the Torah. The populace was so excited at the prospect of a spiritual liberation, following the physical emancipation from Egypt, they kept a count of the passing days that ended with the giving of the Torah at the foot of Mount Sinai Lev.23: 15-16. And Deut.16:9, states that it is a commandment to count seven complete weeks from the day after Passover night ending with the festival of Shavuot on the fiftieth day. Shavuot is the festival marking the giving of the Torah to the Jewish nation.

At Passover, the Jews were raised out of the Egyptian exile although they had sunken almost to the point of no return. The Exodus was unearned, a gift from God. For the next forty-nine days, however, the Jewish people worked on themselves to be able to receive the Torah on their own merit. The receiving of the Torah required spiritual elevation and active cooperation.

As soon as it is definitely night, after sundown, the one who is counting the Omer recites this blessing: “Baruch atah A-donai E-loheinu Melekh Ha-olam asher kid’shanu b’mitzvotav v’tzivanu al S’firat Ha-omer.” (“Blessed are You, Lord our God, King of the Universe, Who has sanctified us with His commandments and commanded us to count the Omer.”) Then he or she states the Omer-count in terms of both total days and weeks and days. For example, on the 23rd day the count would be stated thus: “Today is twenty-three days, which is three weeks and two days of (or in) the Omer.” The count is said in Hebrew.

The blessing is to be recited while it is still night. If he or she remembers the count the next morning or afternoon, the count may still be made, but without a blessing. If one forgets to count a day altogether, he or she may continue to count succeeding days, but without a blessing. The period of Omer is considered to be a time of potential for inner growth, a time to work on ones good characteristics through reflection and development of one aspect each day for the 49 days of the counting.

The forty-nine-day period of counting the Omer is also a time to study, reflect, and a time of semi-mourning. The Seven emotional attributes that are developed during this time are: 1. Chesed – Lovingkindness 2. Gevurah – Justice and Discipleship 3. Tiferet – Harmony, compassion 4. Netzach – Endurance 5. Hod – Humility 6. Yesod – Bonding 7. Malchut – Sovereignty, leadership. The seven weeks further divide into 7 days making up the 49 days of the counting of the Omer. Lag Ba’omer, the thirty-third day of the Counting of the Omer, is considered to be the day in which the plague was lifted, (and/or: the day in which the rebellion saw a victory,) so on that day, all the rules of mourning are lifted up until the 34th day of the Omer, which is considered to be the day of joy and celebration).

Jewish teaching tells us that the soul of man includes these seven Basic Attributes: * 1. Love/Kindness (Chessed) 2. Vigor/Discipline (Gevurah) 3.Beauty/Harmony/Compassion (Tiferet) 4. Victory/Endurance/Determination (Netzach) 5. Humility/Devotion (Hod) 6. Foundation/Bonding/Connection (Yesod) 7. Majesty/Dignity (Malchut) As we fulfill the mitzvah of counting the days and weeks from Passover to Shavuot, each of the seven weeks is devoted to a different attribute — one week for Kindness, another week for Discipline, another for Compassion, and so on. On each of the seven days of the week we refine another of the seven aspects of the week’s attribute. For example, on the week devoted to kindness we will devote one day to refining that aspect of kindness that requires discipline and another day to refining that aspect of kindness that requires compassion, and so forth. During the week we are refining beauty, we spend one day refining that aspect of beauty that requires dignity and another day on that aspect of beauty that requires humility, until we have refined all seven aspects of beauty. Ultimately, all character traits derive from combinations of these seven basic ones. Each quality continually interacts with the others, and in so doing has the capacity to modify its expression and effect. To be whole, a character trait must incorporate all seven.

Most Christians know very little about Passover. It is considered a “Jewish” celebration. However, many wonderful teachers, preachers, evangelists and prophets are teaching the Feasts of the Lord. Church by church, year by year, finally, the teachers of The Word are letting go of Easter and accepting that it is a Pagan holiday/teaching that is not biblical. See our March/April 2012 articles on Passover, The Truth about Easter, and The Feasts of the Lord. This year we encourage everyone to read about Passover and Feasts of the Lord, and celebrate Resurrection Sunday versus Easter. Please do not buy your children Easter eggs, Easter Bunnies, dresses and suits. Forget about Easter dinner–ham and all the trimmings. It’s all Pagan worship. We can only worship one God. We must grow up and be accountable and respectful every day to our Heavenly Father. We are going to share a brief summary–and this is information anyone can research at the library or online. Passover is celebrated all over the world by God’s People. Many Christians do not understand the Passover Seder. Jesus the Messiah celebrated the Seder with His disciples. The new covenant teaches that we are to have communion. Many Messianic congregations continue to have Passover Seder. I feel every “Born Again” Christian should experience a Passover Seder. Below is synopsis of the Passover Seder meal to help those who are not familiar know more about what goes on.

Before the beginning of the Passover, all leaven, which symbolizes sin, (1 Cor. 5:6-8), must be removed from the Jewish home. The house is thoroughly cleaned, top to bottom. Anything containing leaven is removed. The evening before the Passover, the father of the house searches the house for any specks of leaven which might have been missed. Once the leaven is removed, the family sits at the table and ceremonially washes their hands. Once the house and the participants are ceremonially clean, the Passover seder can begin. The woman of the house says a blessing and lights the Passover candles. Haggadah means “the telling” – the telling of the story of Passover. The story is told in response to questions asked by the children. The first question is: ”why is this night different from all other nights”? The father proceeds to tell the story of the Exodus from Egypt, reading from a book called “The Haggadah” using symbols and object lessons in order to keep the attention of the little ones.

The first cup of wine: The seder begins with a blessing recited over the first of four cups of wine: “Blessed art thou, Lord our God, King of the Universe, who hast created the fruit of the vine.” Jesus himself blessed the first cup in Luke 22:17-18. The second cup of wine: The second cup is to remind us of the Ten Plagues and the suffering of the Egyptians when they hardened their heart to the Lord. In order not to rejoice over the suffering of our enemies (Prov. 24:17), we spill a drop of wine (which is a symbol of joy) as we recite each of the Ten Plagues, thus remembering that our joy is diminished at the suffering of others.

The seder plate: The rabbis have devised a series of object lessons to keep the attention of the little ones during the Passover seder. These items are tasted by each person, as each is instructed to feel as if they themselves had taken part in the flight from Egypt. Karpas – greens: The first item taken is the karpas, or greens (usually parsley), which is a symbol of life. The parsley is dipped in salt water, a symbol of tears, and eaten, to remind us that life for our ancestors was immersed in tears. Beitzah – egg A roasted egg is on the seder plate to bring to mind the daily temple sacrifice that no longer can be offered because the temple no longer stands. Maror – bitter herb: This is usually ground horseradish, and enough is eaten (with Motza) to bring a tear to the eyes. We cannot appreciate the sweetness of redemption unless we first experience the bitterness of slavery. Charoset: Charoset is a sweet mixture of chopped apples, chopped nuts, honey, cinnamon, and a little Manischewitz grape wine (kosher for Passover). This sweet, brown mixture is symbolic of the mortar that our ancestors used to build bricks in the land of Egypt. Why do we remember an experience so bitter with something so sweet? We can find sweetness even in the bitterest of experiences because we know our Lord’s coming is near. The Meal: Steaming hot chicken soup with fluffy motza balls; slices of home-made gefilte fish with ground horseradish; more motza; chopped liver on a bed of lettuce; delectable green salad, this is the appetizer. Next comes the meal: Tender, sweet brisket with cabbage; more motza; home made flanken; chicken, it could be stewed chicken, roasted chicken, broiled, boiled, or sautéed, chicken; more motza; a whole roasted turkey; fresh-cut green beans with onions; more motza; carrot and prune tzimmes; sweet potato and raisin tzimmes; home-made mashed potatoes; more motza. Are you ready to hear about desert? Well, not so fast, because now it’s time to get on with the seder!

The Search for the Afikomen: After the meal is finished, the leader of the seder lets the children loose to hunt for the Afikomen, which was wrapped in a napkin and hidden before the meal. There is ususally a reward, maybe $5.00. Once the leader has retrieved the Afikomen, he breaks it up into pieces and distributes a small piece to everyone seated around the table. It is widely believed that these pieces of Afikomen bring a good, long life to those who eat them. The tradition perhaps dates back to the time of Jesus, and if this is the case, Luke 22:19 takes on a greater meaning: “And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, ‘This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.’” Jesus the Messiah would have taken the middle one of the three pieces of motza, the piece that stood for the priest or mediator between God and the people, broken it as His body would be broken, wrapped half in a linen napkin as he would be wrapped in linen for burial, hidden it as he would be buried, brought it back as he would be resurrected, and distributed it to everyone seated with him, as He would distribute His life to all who believe. As He did this, he was conscious that this middle piece of motza represented His own, spotless body given for the redemption of His people. As the motza is striped and pierced, His own body would be striped and pierced, and it is by those wounds that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). This middle piece of motza, or the Afikomen, is our communion bread.

Third Cup: The third cup of wine is taken after the meal. It is the cup of redemption, which reminds us of the shed blood of the innocent Lamb which brought our redemption from Egypt. We see that Jesus took the third cup in Luke 22:20 and 1 Corinthians 11:25, “In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.’” This was not just any cup, it was the cup of redemption from slavery into freedom. This is our communion cup. Fourth Cup: The fourth cup is the Cup of Hallel. Hallel in Hebrew means “praise,” and we see in the beautiful High Priestly Prayer of John 17, that Jesus took time to praise and thank the Lord at the end of the Passover Seder, his last supper. The spotless Passover Lamb had praise on his lips as he went to his death. Elijah’s Cup: A place setting remains empty for Elijah the prophet, the honored guest at every Passover table. The Jewish people expect Elijah to come at Passover and announce the coming of the Messiah (Malachi 4:5). So a place is set, a cup is filled with wine, and hearts are expectant for Elijah to come and announce the coming of the Messiah. They do not realize that Messiah has come. But those of us who believe in Yeshua know that He is the one the prophets spoke of. He is the spotless, unblemished Passover Lamb, whose body was broken for us, whose blood was shed. and who now lives. Shankbone of the Lamb: In every Jewish home, on every seder plate, is a bare shankbone of a lamb. In the book of Exodus, Jewish firstborns were spared from the Angel of Death by applying the blood of a spotless, innocent lamb applied to the doorpost of their homes as God brought the people from slavery into freedom. Today we know Jesus was the perfect Passover Lamb, and when we apply His blood to the doorposts of our heart, we too go from death into life, from the slavery to freedom and we become a redeemed child of God. As John the Baptist said when he saw Jesus coming towards him, “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” (John 1:29)

On the first day, a woman came up to me. I did not know her. A friend of mine knew her and introduced her to me. The three of us were standing there talking and she abruptly said, she would be right back. She went to her car and came back and handed me three books. She said, “the Holy Spirit told me to give you these books”. I was deeply touched. The next day I saw her at the church service and I gave her one of my very special JEHOVAH JIREH ministry tee shirts, my ministry business card, and thanked her again for the books. I perused the books, and decided one in particular looked very interesting, but I did not read and study it until now. Shame on me! This is a one or two- day read; it is 76 pages. It is an awesome book! The book is called: The Believer’s Authority, by Kenneth E. Hagin.

Kenneth Hagin’s father actually wrote this book in 1967. It is almost incomprehensible for me to believe that this quality and magnitude of teaching was available in 1967. This book really does appear to be written for such a time as this, for today. Because this book is based on the Book of Ephesians, he encourages the reader to read the first three chapters over and over again for several days. He says, “You will notice there are Spirit-anointed prayers at the end of the first and third chapters of Ephesians”. He teaches that these prayers were given by the Holy Spirit. Hagin says we must pray: specifically, Ephesians 1:3; 1:16-20; 3:14-19; 6:10-14. Hagin says, “The turning point in my life came when I prayed these prayers for myself more than a thousand times. I started by reading them aloud, beginning with the first chapter. I personalized the prayers by saying ‘me’ wherever Paul said ’you’. For example, reading Ephesians 3:14-17 I would say, ‘For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of my Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That He would grant me, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthend with might by His Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in my heart by faith…’”

Hagin spent many, many hours praying Ephesians 1:16-20 and 3:14-17; replacing ‘me’ every time Paul said ‘you’. He prayed these prayers several times a day, and then the thing he was praying for began to happen. He had been praying for the spirit of wisdom and revelation, and the spirit of revelation began to function. He began to see things in the bible he had never seen before. He advanced more in spiritual growth and knowledge in the first six months of praying this prayer than he had in 14 years as a minister. He said to his wife, “what in the world have I been preaching? I was so ignorant of the bible…”

In Chapter two, What is Authority? He teaches that authority is delegated power. Paul told believers to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Eph 6:10. “That means you can step out in front of the devil, hold up your hand, and tell him not to come any closer. Use your authority! Hagin shares that he continued to pray these prayers and had four dreams, and when he woke up he knew exactly what the Lord was saying to him; he received uncommon revelation.

In chapter three ”Seated with Christ.” Hagin teaches that when Jesus ascended, He transferred His authority to the Church. He is the head of the church and believers make up the body. Christ’s authority has to be perpetuated through His Body, which is on earth. Hagin says, “You will never understand the authority of the believer with your intellect; you must get the spiritual revelation of it. You must believe it by faith.” You can view the complete teaching of The Believer’s Authority on utube or you can order the book. I think the book is more powerful than the utube, but perhaps utube is a good place to start. This teaching will revolutionize your life and your understanding of YOUR AUTHORITY.

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. (John 14:26)

Our Heavenly Father sent the Holy Spirit .

When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. (Acts 2:1-4)

On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified. (John 7:37-39)

If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!” (Luke 11:13)

What is the Work of the Holy Spirit ?

And when He (the Holy Spirit) has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: of sin, because they do not believe in Me; of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged. (John 16:8-11)

However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you (John 16:13-15)

Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. (Romans 5:5)

Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. (Romans 8:27)

But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him. (1 John 2:27)

The Gifts of the Holy Spirit .

Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant: You know that you were Gentiles, carried away to these dumb idols, however you were led. Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit.

There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills. (1 Corinthians 12:1-11)

What does it mean to be Born of the Holy Spirit ?

Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.” (John 3:5-8)

The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.” (John 3:8 )

What is the Filling of the Holy Spirit ?

And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. (Acts 2:4)

And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness. (Acts 4:31)

But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and t.the end of the earth.” (Acts 1:8)

But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him. (John 2:27)

Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood. (Acts 20:28)

Live according to the Holy Spirit .

For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.( Romans 8:5-6)

For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. (Romans 8:13-14)

For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. (Gal. 5:17)

If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another. (Gal. 5:25-26)

The laws of Seed and Harvest. Dr. Mike Murdock is the most prolific teacher and writer on this subject. There are a excellent teachers on the subject, but Dr. Mike Murdock is the best of the best. I have listened to dozens of his teachings. I believe he is a true Man of God. A couple of years ago, after listening to Dr. Murdock, I felt strongly that God had an assignment for me. As an act of obedience, I planted a $1000 seed for a financial blessing. Almost immediately I received a phone call from an investor group which was the beginning of a one year project. I began receiving payments almost out of thin air for work that I had not expected. I received $12,000 from this one source and used some of that money as start up to begin my Kingdom Project. The money always came through Federal Express–which is a Mike Murdock “Signature Anointing”. God has given me a very exciting Kingdom project. This blog is one of several steps in the development of that project. The Holy Spirit brings readers from every continent. I am grateful to have readers who write inspiring notes. The purpose of this article is inspire or motivate YOU. I recieve hundreds of comments from readers who want to start a blog or a ministry, or do Kingdom work, but they do not know where to start. I think three things are important: Pray, Fast, and Plant your Seed. Dr. Murdock teaches that you must give your seed a specific assignment. This is a very important.

A few months ago, I became a Wisdom 3000 Partner. This is not a new concept. It is new to me. Dr. Mike Murdock is viewed on over 100 stations worldwide (The Word Network, Day Star). As part of your membership you will recieve roughly 4 books and CDs. One book is The Covenant of Fifty-Eight Blessings which is a compilation of the Blessings of God. Dr. Murdock identifies the Blessing/Promises of God in order as they were given, broken down by category, alphabetically. Dr. Murdock teaches us that every seed has an invisable instruction or assignment. That’s Powerful! I have sat in many churches and conferences and heard about the power of seed and harvest. But not like this.

My three favorite categories are: 25: Heaven “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him. 1 Cor 2:9.” 29: Intercessory Prayer ”For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful. What is it then? I will pray with the Spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also; I will sing with the Spirit and I will sing with the understanding also. 1 Cor. 14: 14-15.” 48: Riches ”But thou shall remember the Lord thy God, for it is he that giveth power to get wealth, that he may establish His covenant which He sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day. Deut: 8:18.” Dr Murdock teaches us to give our seed a specific assignment or harvest. Name it, decree it, pray, expect, and most of all believe.

The fifty-eight blessings and the $58 seed are one small aspect of the prolific teachings of Dr. Mike Murdock. He is on TV daily on Wisdom Keys with Mike Murdock. Dr. Murdock has written 300 books. The Wisdom Center is located in Fort Worth, Tx. The website is http://www.wisdomonline.com. twitter.com/Dr.MikeMurdock. Or call 866-732-2487 to learn how you can become a Wisdom 3000 Partner. (Please post a comment when you become a member; and when your seed recieves a harvest, please share.)

What does the Bible say about The End Times, The AntiChrist, and The Great Tribulation? Most of us have heard sermons or read articles on these subjects. This article will highlight resources that will help you develop your understanding of the events to come. The Fall Feasts of the Lord are, in my opinion and based on my research, very connected to these End Time events. Please refer to the articles/resources in the Feasts of the Lord section of this blog.

The Bible gives us signs that warn us of the coming end of the age. Many Christians interpret the scripture as saying we will not know the time of His coming. But there is scripture that may warn us of End Time events, the AntiChrist, the Time of Tribulation, and the season of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. The Body of Christ constantly looks at the question of Pre-Rapture, Mid-Rapture or Post-Rapture. You will have plenty of quality information to consider if you have read my three previous articles on End Times Prophecy and articles on the 3 Fall Feasts. Every article has resource information online, utube, or that will be sent to you free of charge. This article emphasizes and adds writings from the Voice of Elijah, Contender Ministries, and of course Tomorrow’s World, Theresa Garcia Ministy, Clarence Larkin, Pastor Mark Biltz, have written extensively on these subjects. If you want to read books on this subject, the best selling series Left Behind is world renown and Gary Frazier’s book, It Could Happen Tomorrow, is popular. Do not be ignorant on this subject, be informed. “My people parish from lack of knowledge Hosea 4:6.

According to Larry D. Harper (www.voiceofelijah.org, in his book “The AntiChrist” the works of two men on this subject, Church Father Irenaeus (A.D. 120-201) and his disciple Hippolytus (A.D.170-236), the works of these two men have been dismissed as ramblings by some scholars. Harper says, “We do not understand what they wrote today simply because we are victims of the working of Satan whereby he successfully led the church astray from the apostolic tradition, what I call “The Teaching.” Harper writes in “The AntiChrist”: Irenaeus was a disciple of Polycarp, who had been a disciple of the Apostle John. Irenaeus wrote this of his teacher Polycarp: But Polycarp also was not only instructed by apostles, and conversed with many who had seen Christ, but was also an Apostle in Asia appointed bishop of the Church in Smyrna.” Hippolytus was a disciple of Irenaeus. You will find in his work he, too, believed he had been accurately taught those things the apostles learned from Jesus Christ by revelation. These two agree on all the basic points regarding the advent of Christ and the AntiChrist.

The beliefs these two held in common can be briefly summarized as follows: That 1. Satan will appear as a man in the person of the AntiChrist because he seeks to reign as King. 2.The AntiChrist will be a Jew and will achieve his stated objectives including becoming the ‘abomination of desolation’. 3. The AntiChrist is the little horn of the fourth beast mentioned in Daniel 7. 4. The AntiChrist will achieved his objectives in the middle of the final 7 year period of this age. 5. The AntiChrist during his reign will deceive many of the people. 6. Jesus Christ will return to earth at the middle of his one year reign.” To read more about these two men, go to: www.voiceofelijah.org . You can order this book free of charge.

Jennifer Nash, Contender Ministries, http://contenderministries.org has written an article: Prophetic Signs that we are in the End Times. She discusses the six signs given by Jesus to indicate his coming, the two characteristicso of the End of the Age from the Apostle Paul, and the Eleven Fulfillments of Bible Prophecy required for the end of the Age. There were Six signs given by Jesus to Indicate his coming and the end of the times. The Six signs are: 1. False Prophets and claims to be Christ. 2. Wars 3. Famines. 4. Earthquakes. 5. Tribulations. 6. The Gospel will be preached throughout the world. Matt: 24:5-14. The two characteristics: 1. Godlessness in the last days, 2Tim. 3:1-5,7. 2. Apostasy(Falling away from the faith), 1Tim 4: 1-3.

Eleven Fulfillments of Bible Prophecy required for the end of the age. This is an interesting list: 1. Existence of a 200,000,000 man army in the East, Rev. 9:16. 2. Redevelopment of the Roman Empire (EU), Daniel 2:32-33. 3. Return of the one pure language, Hebrew, to Israel Zep. 3:9. 4. Rebuilding of the temple/restore Temple worship Rev. 11:2, Dan 9:26-27. 5. Appearance of the Red Heifer after 2000 years, Num. 19:27. 6. Increase in knowledge and travel, Dan. 12:4. 7. Return of the Ethiopian Jews to Israel, Zep. 3:10-11. 8. The rise of Russia, Ezk. 38:2-8. 9. Return of Russian Jews to Israel, Jer. 23:7-8. 10. Technology for the mark of the beast, Rev. 13: 16-17. 11. Plans for the one world government. 12. Instant communication around the world. Luke 21:28 & 32. Contender Ministries website has a wealth of information. After reading 30 or so articles on the subject of the End Times, I feel strongly that one does not need to arrive at a definite conclusion of how they feel it will happen. One must know God, walk in line with His Word, Obey Him and continue to develop your line of communication with the Holy Spirit. And what you know, understand and believe about End Times Prophecy, The Great Tribulation, The AntiChrist and the Coming of Jesus Christ will take form. “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. Psalms 119:105.

Willie Brown I ditto your comments, specifically: I pray that the great pastors and evangelists in this nation will find their way to the White House to “minister” to the President and 1st family, and that our President, who is blessed, will be “Born Again”, ”Filled with the Spirit of Christ”, filled with “The Holy Spirit,” and that he receives “Filling of the Spirit” for Service. When the President kicks his faith up a notch, We Win! The First Family will be changed, and our nation will also begin to change.

Pastors like Bishop Charles Blake, Pastors David Middleton, Reginald Steele, Joyce Meyer, Dr. Bill Winston, Dr. Mike Murdock, Dr. Mark Chironna, Dr. Creflo Dollar, Benny Hinn, Mark Biltz, Apostle Darrell Winston, Theresa Garcia, Bill Johnson, Dr. Nasir Siddiki, Prophetess/Dr. Medina Pullings. Perry Stone, Messianic Rabbi Kirt Schneider, the great work of Charles Larkin. This is a short list of great teachers, there are many, many great teachers in America. The point: The Five Fold Ministries, please come forth into the White House and teach The Word so that our great President, who is the leader of the world, will carry the Spirt of God, and make decisions and rule standing on the Word of God! Those of you who stand in agreement with me, send this message out until it gets to the President.

And for the Naysayers who say the President won’t like this or won’t respond to this message, it is ok. My words are Spirit led. I am not trying to “go to the White House”, I have already been there. This is not about me or the Pastors mentioned, it is about reclaiming our great nation.

1 Cor 1:27: God hath used the foolish to confound the wise; and God hath used the weak to confound the mighty.”

There is a lot to learn and consider. In sharing what have been blessed to learn about this subject, I am finding Rev. Clarence Larkin’s teachings are endless on this subject. Before I move forward and talk about the Anti-Christ, and the great work by Theresa Garcia, I want to bring to your attention chapter 4 of Dispensational Truth, which teaches us about: “The Second Coming.” Rev. Larkin’s identifies for us in detail Holy Scripture about: ” The Second Coming”. AS TO THE FACT:

1. THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS HIMSELF.

Matt. 16:27. “For the Son of Man shall come in the glory of his Father, with his angels, and then he shall reward every man according to his works.”

Matt. 25:31-32. “When the Son of Man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the ‘Throne of His Glory; ‘ and before him shall be gathered all nations; and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats.”

John 14:2-3. “In my father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”

2. THE TESTIMONY OF HEAVENLY BEINGS.

John 21:22. “If I will that he tarry till I come what is that to thee? Follow thou me.”

Acts 1:10-11. “And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? This SAME JESUS, which is taken up from you in heaven, shall so come IN LIKE MANNER as ye have seen him to go into heaven.”

This passage declares that the SAME JESUS shall return IN LIKE MANNER as He went, that is, that His return will be visible and personal. The two “men” that “stood by” were probably Moses and Elijah. They appeared with Jesus on the Mount of Transfiguration. They were doubtless the “two men” who testified to the women at the tomb that Jesus had risen (Luke 24:4-5), and they will be the “Two Witnesses” that shall testify during the Tribulation. Rev. 11:3-5.

3. THE TESTIMONY OF THE APOSTLES

PAUL-”For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, , according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.” Phil. 3:20-21.

“Looking for that ‘Blessed Hope’ and the ‘Glorious Appearing’ of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ.” Titus 2:13.

“So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the ‘Second Time‘ without sin unto salvation. Heb. 9:28

JAMES-“Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord.” James 5:7.

PETER-“For we have not followed cunningly devised fables when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eye-witnesses of his majesty.” 2Pet. 1:16.

JUDE-“And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousand of his saints, to execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoke against him.” Jude 14-15.

JOHN-”And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming. 1John 2:28.

“Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.” Rev. 1:7.

In lesson one you were directed to The Preserved Word website to view the 7 charts designed by Clarence Larkin. It is important that you view these charts. What is amazing is that this information was written approximately 100 years ago around 1900-1920. I believe this information can directly impact your salvation. The next step in looking at this question of End Times Prophecy and Dispensational Truth is to go to: http://www.thepreservedword.com. You will find 34 chapters of incredible teaching. This is a MUST READ. Chapter XXXIV is called: The Sign of the Times.
The Ten signs of the Times: (Summarized).

“1. POST-MILLENNIAL SCOFFERS.
In 2Pet. 3:3-4 we read: “That there shall come in the ‘Last Days’ SCOFFERS, walking after their own lusts, and saying, Where is the promise of HIS COMING? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation…”

“2. APOSTASY.
In 2Thes. 2:3, we are told that “THAT DAY (the Day of the Lord) shall not come, except there come a ‘FALLING AWAY’ first.” This “Falling Away” is evidenced on every hand.”

“3. FALSE TEACHERS.
…the Apostle Paul wrote to Timothy (2Tim. 4:3-4), saying: “The time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears: and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto FABLES.” …there is a “turning away” in doctrinal standards, in the demand for a regenerated church membership, in church and Sunday school attendance, and in Sabbath observance. Many churchgoers will not endure “sound doctrine…”

“4. SPIRITUALISM.
In 1Tim. 4:1 we are warned of a departure from the faith. That in the “Latter Times” (the Last Days of this Dispensation), some shall “depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils…”

“5. PERILOUS TIMES.
Of these times Paul told Timothy…’This know also, that in the ‘LAST DAYS’ Perilous Times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection (for their own offspring)…’”

“6. HEAPED UP TREASURE.
In James 5:1-3, we are told that in the “LAST DAYS” there shall be a class of “rich men, ” who shall have “HEAPED treasure together… and who shall use their ill-gotten gain in the pursuit of ‘pleasure’… and that God will hear the cry of those who have been cheated of their just share of the profits, and will send a sore judgment upon the guilty…”

“7. A LAODICEAN CHURCH.
In the Message to the Church of Laodicea (Rev. 3:14-16 It is described as neither “hot” nor “cold, ” but nauseatingly lukewarm, so that Christ says He will ‘spue it out of His mouth.’ It boastingly will claim to be ‘rich’ and ‘increased with goods…’”

“8. THE FIG-TREE SIGN.
Jesus’ Disciples asked Him…’Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the SIGN of THY COMING, and of the end of the world (Age)?’ (Matt. 24:1-3), Jesus gave as a ‘Sign’ of His Coming the ‘Fig-Tree Sign.’ The ‘Fig-Tree’ symbolizes the nation of Israel, and its ‘budding’ the revival of Israel as a nation…”

“9. THE DISTRESS OF NATIONS.
Luke 21:24-26 Jesus tells us that as the ‘Times of the Gentile’ come to a close, there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth DISTRESS OF NATIONS… and THEN shall they see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory…”

“10. NOAH DAYS.
The ‘sign’ of the ‘Noah Days’(Luke 17:26-28)… as it was in the days of Noah, they did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded, so shall it be in the days of the Son of Man. Where is the sin in doing these things? The sin was not in “doing” them, but in doing them ‘UNTIL the Flood came.’ That is, they did nothing else. They forgot to worship their Maker. Men and women are so busily engaged in doing the good things of life that they have no time to worship God. They are so busy building homes for themselves on earth that they are neglecting to secure a home in heaven…”

And, of course, the internet is a valuable resource. This is the first of many articles we will write about End Times Bible Prophecy, Dispensationalism and the Anti-Christ. These articles are designed to provide you with resources that are thought-provoking and well-researched information on this subject. Christians MUST study this subject. We cannot continue to be experts in the law, sports, movies, music, stocks, wealth generation, and know nothing or very little about End Times Prophecy. During my study I have watched several TV programs on Tomorrow’s World and read their free publication, Feb. 2012 issue: Why Study Bible Prophecy? Visit: www.TomorrowsWorld.org to order your free copy. I also listened to a 10 part CD by Theresa Garcia called “The Man of Sin”. I think her work is phenomenal. She also has a TV ministry (TBN) “Understanding the End of the Age”. Utube: www.itbn.org/…/1nbmhpNDr5zq5bVCHd7GD1FlLbX…
Website: www.TheresaGarciaMinistry.org.

In Theresa Garcia’s 10 part CD, “The Man of Sin” and her study book, she refers to “Dispensational Truth or God’s Plan and Purpose in the Ages; Clarence Larkin”. I found this to be excellent foundational information. Who is Rev. Larkin? “Rev. Clarence Larkin (1850–1924) was an American Baptist pastor, Bible teacher and author whose writings on Dispensationalism had a great impact on conservative Protestant visual culture in the 20th century. His intricate and influential charts provided readers with a visual strategy for mapping God’s action in history and for interpreting complex biblical prophecies.” Wixipedia.org.

“Clarence Larkin was born on October 28, 1850, in Chester, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. He experienced conversion at the age of 19…When he was converted he had become a member of the Episcopal Church, but in 1882, at the age of 32, he became a Baptist and was ordained as a Baptist minister two years later. He went directly from business into the ministry….He began to make large wall charts, which he titled ‘Prophetic Truth,’ for use in the pulpit. These led to invitations to teach elsewhere. During this time he published a number of prophetical charts, which were widely circulated and contributed as articles for the Sunday-School Times”.

In 1918, he completed Dispensational Truth, but high demand for the work led him to produce a greatly expanded edition in 1920. Dispensational Truth (or God’s Plan and Purpose in the Ages), contains dozens of charts and hundreds of pages of descriptive matter. He spent three years designing and drawing the charts and preparing the text, which remains in print. Dispensational Truth had a large and wide circulation, the first edition was soon exhausted. It was followed by a second edition, and then, realizing that the book was of permanent value, Larkin revised it and expanded it, printing it in its present form of over 300 pages. Larkin followed this with other books: Rightly Dividing the Word, The Book of Daniel, Spirit World, Second Coming of Christ, and A Medicine Chest for Christian Practitioners, a handbook on evangelism. During the last five years of his life, the demand for Larkin’s books made it necessary for him to give up the pastorate and devote his full time to writing. He died on January 24, 1924.” All excerps came from wikipedia.org.
